American Hustle (2013)

I went to see American Hustle for 2 reasons: 1) David O. Russell and 2) Jennifer Lawrence. And I am extremely sad to say I was thoroughly disappointed with the movie. 😦 Thank Movie God though for Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner, who were thoroughly brilliant and almost made it worth the money. To be fair, Silver Linings Playbook was a tough act to follow. But still. *disappointed*

    Yikes. Was it that bad? Suddenly, I’m not so keen to catch it.

      Yes actually it was… 😦 I would not pay for the cinema for it. The pacing was all wrong and the dialogue was far from Silver Linings Playbook. But I’m just one critic!
