12 Years a Slave (2013) did not disappoint. A feat of cinematic brilliance. Stellar acting and cinematography. Hans Zimmer also delivers, yet again. I do believe it’s still showing. And if you like this kind of movie (it’s not everyone’s cup of tea), I strongly urge you to go see it. Oh, and having seen this, I’ve well and truly made up my mind: Chiwetel and Cate (Blue Jasmine – another runaway favourite of mine this year) for Oscars! (My opinion counts in my pretend world.) 😉
